Hello there,
I would like to hear about your experiences of applying to PhD programs in the USA.
Is it complicated to get accepted? How much documents and preparation is needed?
Did you or your friends have succeeded?
Is it hard to be accepted for PhD program in the US?
Re: Is it hard to be accepted for PhD program in the US?
HI FARMY,
From the sayings around by some friends, I think it is harder if you dont come from an English speaking country or a more western country. There is the issue of passing the English test etc. Then, after that, another thing is the fee that are really high in the US. If you dont get a funded PhD position, it could be expensive.

I know some people who admitted in the US for studying. It was a selective process but with preparation, they succeeded. I think like for anything, it requires preparation. Wish you luck if you want to do it.

Studying in the USA is not so hard, based on my friends' experience. But I would rather go to Europe or Asia.
