I see some tremendous achievements in AI in the last ten years. Now we have these billion parameters language models that can translate and generate text, find the face of people in pictures and even generate fake videos. That Is some crazy stuff that i would not have imagined ten years ago.

So what will happen in ten years from now? Can artificial intelligence replace humans for most tasks? Is it a problem that we are limited by current GPUs and we need trillion parameters or do we need different arxhitectures?

Hi
I think we are still far from that.

I would say another 25 or 50 years.

Some of the key to the success of Artificial Intelligence Is big data to train bigger models and processing power. In 25 or 50 years, we can get some major improvement.

The advances are at a high pace in artificial Intelligence. I think in 15 years we can have some computers that can write complex programs, write songs, etc.

There Is indeed fast progress. I would say more like 40 or 50 years.
